Introducing Inside Norse – ‘Building the future, one home, one community, at a time’

We’re excited to announce a unique series of Inside Norse hosted by Richard Gawthorpe, Group Business Development Director at Norse Group. Richard will be stepping in for our usual host, Paul Pawa, to guide this special programme, which explores the UK government’s housing agenda and how we can create more sustainable, inclusive communities for the future.

Titled ‘Building the future, one home, one community, at a time’, this new collection of conversations will bring together experts from local government and the public sector to discuss the most pressing issues around housing and community development. Richard and his guests will cover topics ranging from Labour’s ‘1.5 million new homes’ pledge to innovative funding models and the benefits of collaboration between public and private sectors in achieving these ambitious goals.

In the first discussion, Richard is joined by Jonathan Werran, Chief Executive of Localis, Darren Rodwell, Founder of Inclusive Growth Consultancy, and Daniella Barrow, Senior Director of Consulting at Norse Group, as they explore the significance of Labour’s housing pledge, and the vital role collaboration plays in turning these goals into reality.

In the second instalment, Richard is joined by Professor Samer Bagaeen, Technical Director at Arcadis, Jonathan Werran, and Daniella Barrow, as they reflect on the lessons we can learn from the UK’s housing history and how we can ensure today’s plans avoid the mistakes of the past.

These insightful episodes will offer fresh perspectives on housing, community cohesion, and collaboration. If you’re a fan of Inside Norse’s usual thought-provoking conversations with industry experts, you’ll definitely want to tune in for this one.
