Keeping essential routes moving throughout the year
Highways maintenance & management
Delivering safer, more efficient roads through trusted public sector partnership
Supporting local road networks
Connecting communities
Roads connect people, businesses, and communities, and keeping them safe and reliable is our priority. Norse Group provides comprehensive highways management and maintenance services to local authorities and public sector partners. From emergency response to long-term infrastructure improvements, our work ensures essential routes remain safe, accessible, and efficient for everyone who relies on them.
Reliable service, trusted expertise
In partnership with Norfolk County Council, Norse Group manages and maintains most of the county’s road network. Our experienced teams deliver a full spectrum of services, including pothole repairs, routine maintenance, carriageway surfacing, private works, and winter gritting. During the winter months, we prioritise keeping roads safe, deploying gritting and de-icing operations across key routes to prevent accidents and maintain access.
Always ready for the challenge
Highways maintenance can be unpredictable, from urgent repairs to planned improvement schemes. Our agile approach ensures we respond quickly to emergencies, seasonal demands, and changing priorities.
Supported by the wider Norse Group network, including Norfolk Partnership Laboratory, which delivers pavement engineering, materials testing, and geotechnical and geoenvironmental services, and Fast Lane Training Services, our teams work collaboratively. Together, they deliver seamless, high-quality services tailored to the needs of local authorities, businesses, and residents alike.
