Following a review request from the client, Norse Group was commissioned to assess the existing security provision and identify whether additional measures could enhance site safety and efficiency.
Ransomes Europark
Norse Group was providing static guarding services to the Land Group at its Ransomes Europark site in Ipswich.
Overview
Smarter security solutions
The review identified opportunities to strengthen the overall security approach. As a result, Norse Group proposed a combination of enhanced CCTV coverage, improved monitoring capability, and a revised static guarding model.
These changes delivered a more integrated security solution, while also achieving cost efficiencies that could be reinvested into further site improvements.
The updated service was implemented over a three-month period, with ongoing quarterly reviews agreed to ensure continued performance and alignment with client needs.
On-site security officers continue to play a vital role in supporting public safety. With the addition of live CCTV monitoring, both the on-site team and control room operators are now better equipped to respond quickly and effectively to incidents as they arise.
Impact
Since implementation, coverage across the Ransomes Europark site has significantly improved.
The increased number of strategically placed cameras, combined with live monitoring, provides greater visibility of key areas and improved situational awareness.
Supported by Norse Group’s state-of-the-art Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), the team is able to maintain direct communication with on-site staff and deliver an immediate response when required. The enhanced system also enables improved monitoring of pedestrian and vehicle movements, helping to support safer site operations and more effective incident management.
