Formed in 2023, East Hampshire Norse brings together local insight and professional expertise to provide essential services that make communities safer, cleaner, and more welcoming. The joint venture delivers waste and environmental management, including alternate-weekly kerbside recycling and general waste collections, with glass collected every two weeks. Teams work closely with the council and residents to maintain accessible, well-cared-for public spaces, support environmental sustainability, and create a sense of pride in the places people live, work, and visit every day.

Investing back in the public

East Hampshire Norse keeps public areas inviting by sweeping roads, collecting litter, and emptying council litter bins across the district. The partnership is responsible for maintaining all public highways, as well as its own land and public car parks, ensuring every space is cared for. Profits generated are returned to the public purse, supporting local services, and the joint venture actively contributes to the local economy by creating jobs and supporting employment opportunities in the community. The team also continuously seeks ways to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and respond to local needs, creating vibrant, valued, and sustainable communities.
