Norse Gets Gold

After landing an internationally recognised award for demonstrating high health and safety standards, Norse Group is celebrating.

The Group has received a RoSPA Gold Health and Safety Award for working hard to ensure its staff get home safely to their families at the end of every working day. Roger Smith, Director of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) and SHEQ colleagues Group Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, Rob Dent and Oliver Syrett, Deputy Group Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, collected the award in London on the 16th of May, 2023 on behalf of the Group.

Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as world health and safety practice leaders. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.

Roger Smith, Director of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) said: “This is a true testament to our cultural approach and commitment to delivering a safe working environment for all employees. The SHEQ Department has played a vital role in influencing this behavioural-based safety culture across the group. Their efforts have truly made a difference in reducing serious incidents and accidents and fostering a culture of learning and development.
