As a recipient of the prestigious Ruban d’Honneur at this year’s European Business Awards, the Norse Group was recently invited to present its business to a panel of expert judges.
The Group was chosen as one of 110 participants from across the 11 award categories to receive this accolade, and is competing against 9 other companies in the Business of the Year Award with Turnover of €150m category.
Norse Group Managing Director Mike Britch along with Norse Group HR Director Tricia Fuller stood before the judging panel earlier this week.
The panel was made up of a diverse range of European business leaders:
Philip Forest – Chairman of Judges
Yves Leterme – Former Prime Minister of Belgium
Luc Bardin – Chairman of Strategic Partnering Ltd in France
Erhan Bas – General Manager of Bilim Pharmaceuticals in Turkey
Takis M Klerides – Executive Chairman at CMK Eurofinance Consultants Ltd and former Finance Minister of Cyprus
Farouk Ramzam – Managing Director and Head of Commercial Banking, Europe at Lloyds Banking Group in the UK
We received a very positive response from the judges, especially regarding the ethos of the Group and our emphasis on the importance of our people and Corporate Social Responsibility. We did our very best to promote the business, and look forward to finding out the judges decision in June.
The results are announced at a Gala event which will be held in Milan. All 110 Ruban d’Honneur recipients along with the 32 National Public Champions will be honoured, and the overall category winners will be announced.
