As the public voting stage of the European Business Awards (EBA) reaches the half way point, the EBA has just announced that the Norse Group is set to receive a prestigious Ruban d’Honneur at this year’s awards.
Having been named as a ‘UK National Champion’ last month, the Group is also currently competing for votes to become ‘Public’ Champion for the UK in order to progress to the subsequent international stage of the Awards.

Now success in the EBA process has continued after the Group was named as one of ten companies from across Europe selected for a Ruban d’Honneur in the category of Business of the Year Award with Turnover of €150m or higher. With 11 award categories overall, this makes us one of 110 companies out of 678 National Champions from across Europe singled out for this accolade.
Delighted with the News, Norse Group Managing Director Mike Britch said:
Recognition in these prestigious awards will be of great benefit to the Norse Group as we continue with our ambitious growth plans, forming profitable and new joint ventures. Such recognition will align us with top businesses in the UK and across Europe.
Each category winner will be decided by a panel of judges – made up of European business and political leaders, academics and entrepreneurs – and will be announced at the Awards Ceremony set to take place in June this year.
Voting closes on Friday 26 February, and the company with the highest votes from each country will progress to a second public vote, competing to be crowned European Public Champion.
