- Fish is low in fat and a good source of protein, which is essential for building and repairing our muscles.
- Pasta is a good source of carbohydrates and provides sustained energy which is useful when exercising.
- Bananas are a good food to eat before exercise as they are rich in potassium which supports muscle movement.
- Finland is famous for its fish dishes as there are many lakes and rivers as well as the Baltic Sea for fishing.
- Teemu likes to stay lean to help him evade defenders but also must hit top speeds during a game, so he enjoys lean protein sources such as fish and carbohydrate-based meals/snacks to fuel his training.
- Teemu often has a slice of banana bread before training.
