Simon Hardwick leaves the Norse Group board on 31 March 2023. Simon was one of the inaugural Non-Executive Directors appointed by the Shareholder in 2019. Simon has been integral to the Group’s foundational strategy and is an influential board member, ensuring good Governance runs through the company. Simon has positively contributed to much change over the last three years, seeing Norse go from strength to strength. The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Simon for his dedication, commitment and wise counsel to the Board and Norse Group.

Dr Craig Dearden-Phillips MBE will join the Board from 1 April 2023 and replace Simon on our Board of Non-Executive Directors.

Craig is the Managing Director of Social Minds, an organisation which helps form and grow successful health and care businesses. He has advised various health and care organisations on their strategies, including the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust.

Working in the UK health and care sector in various Executive, Advisory and NED roles Craig advocates bringing the patient and user voice into the centre of decision-making.

Craig’s knowledge and experience within the public and private care sector will be invaluable to the organisation, allowing the Board and Norse to develop and achieve their strategic aims for the next five years through his care and cost management expertise.

Dr Dearden-Phillips said, “I live by the principle ‘Give First’. Trust is a currency that creates a huge bounty, whether this is a country, a company, or a local community.”

Justin Galliford, CEO of Norse, said: “I am pleased to welcome Craig to the board and know his experience within the care sector will be invaluable to the business, specifically NorseCare, as we continue to improve the services we offer and strengthen our position within the care market.”

Norse Group would like to thank Simon Hardwick for serving the Group over the last three years.
