Norse Group is proud to once again sponsor the Public Sector Challenge, this time for Peak Pursuit, taking place on 5 September 2024.

This annual event brings together public sector organisations, local government colleagues, and partners with a shared purpose to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation.

This year marks our fourth joining forces with our valued partners Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council to take on the challenge, and we’re determined to make it our most impactful yet. In 2024, the Public Sector Challenge raised an incredible £250,000, this year, we’re aiming even higher.

Set in the heart of the Peak District, Peak Pursuit offers five carefully planned routes ranging in distance and difficulty. Participants will experience some of the UK’s most breathtaking landscapes, including Mam Tor, the Great Ridge, Back Tor, and Lose Hill. Representing Team Norse will be a group of dedicated employees, who will be lacing up their boots to raise money and awareness for these two important causes.

    • “We’re pleased to support the Public Sector Challenge and take on Peak Pursuit as Team Norse. Beyond its charitable aims, the challenge is a powerful way to promote health, wellbeing, and connection for our employees and the wider public sector. This year’s event has been designed with inclusivity in mind, featuring a 5km wheelchair-accessible route, ensuring more people can get involved. We’re looking forward to taking part alongside organisers, partners, and clients, strengthening relationships, and making a positive impact.”
