We are thrilled to announce that Norse Group has been awarded the National Association of Care Catering (NACC) Catering Team of the Year Award for our innovative Food Glorious Food project.
Over the last 12 months, Norse Group has been working to improve the dining experience for over 600 residents in our Norfolk care homes, particularly for those facing challenges with eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties (EDS).
At Norse Group, we believe there is always a better way to serve our community. Our vision is to create a fully inclusive menu, making dining rooms the heart of each home. Food Glorious Food is designed to elevate this experience by ensuring high-quality food and drink that are both appetising and delicious are accessible to all residents.
Through specialised training from Oak House Kitchen and collaboration between our Norse Care and Catering teams, we have enhanced residents’ quality of life, improved staff morale, and reinforced Norse Group’s commitment to care, collaboration, and innovation. This award reflects the dedication of everyone involved in our mission to deliver exceptional care for the public good.
As we look to the future, we remain focused on developing new menus that feature smaller plates, homemade snacks, and nutritious cook-to-order options, empowering all residents to enjoy meals tailored to their individual needs.
