South Yorkshire Careers Hub awarded Barnsley Norse, in partnership with Barnsley Council the ‘Leading the Way’ Award for creativity and innovation.
At Norse, we believe in helping support local people, which is why Barnsley Norse participate in the ‘Supported Employment’ scheme run by Barnsley Council. The program allows individuals with learning barriers or additional support needs to succeed in the workplace by modifying recruitment to lower their barriers when applying for jobs and working with job coaches while supporting them.
Congratulations to Barnsley Norse for their spectacular achievement. This is a prime example of how Norse continue to be diverse and inclusive to all those who have a passion for working and being part of an organisation that supports its people and the community they live in.
