Tim Krul’s Menu:

  • Lentils are high in protein and fibre and low in fat. Fibre is good for your digestion.
  • The red lentil stew on today’s menu contains carrots, red peppers and tomatoes. Red food contains lots of vitamin C which is good for eye health – something very important for a goalkeeper!
  • Broccoli is considered a super-food as it contains lots of calcium, fibre and vitamins. Calcium helps keeps our bones healthy and strong.
  • Apples are popular in Dutch cuisine and apples are full of antioxidants which are good for your immune system.
  • Tim needs to be constantly alert to make saves from the likes of Mo Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo.
  • He likes to stay as healthy as possible and also hydrated by having a fruit smoothie each day.
