The design provides a state of the art facility for primary, secondary and post-16 students. Learning spaces are bright, well thought out and based on the philosophy of small group – family based learning; all learning spaces also have an adjacent outdoor class area.

The school has a therapy wing that include facilities such as:

hydrotherapy hot pool
sensory suite with a soft play area, multi-sensory room and sensory integration room
three specialist rooms for therapists
dedicated meeting area for parents and professionals.

The outdoor facilities of the new site are well thought out to enable a large variety of activities. The space includes dedicated primary and secondary play areas and a bespoke play hill for all pupils.

Various sustainable technologies serve the building, including a Ground Source Heat Pump borehole system, Solar PV and a dedicated Combined Heat and Power plant for the hydrotherapy pool.
