Norse Security will be helping keep visitors at two north Norfolk holiday parks safe when a new partnership with Blue Sky Leisure begins at Kelling Heath and Woodhill Holiday Parks this month.

The first of its type for Norse Security, the three-year contract will see the team provide night guards and mobile patrols for the parks and supply extra security staff during busy periods and special events.

George Jarvis, Head of Norse Security, said he hoped the leisure and tourism industry move would lead to other exciting opportunities.

“We are very pleased to be working with Kelling Heath and look forward to helping keep guests and holiday homeowners safe and the holiday park secure,” he said.

“This contract is an exciting move for us, providing an opportunity to expand our security services into the leisure industry.

“The vast majority of our contracts are corporate, but our high-quality security provision is transferable across different industries.”

Like other Norse Security clients, both parks will benefit from the knowledge that their guards will be supported by the new Norse Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), George explained.

“This state-of-the-art control centre uses the latest technology to provide comprehensive, 24/7 monitoring of CCTV systems.

“It also enables Norse Security to respond promptly to alerts and dispatch our Mobile Response Team if necessary,” he added.

Part of Norse Commercial Services, Norse Security has partnerships with more than 100 clients across East Anglia.

Its comprehensive services range from key holding and alarm response to CCTV installation and monitoring, reception or front of house duties, and static and mobile guards.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, between Sheringham and Holt in Norfolk, Kelling Heath Holiday Park sits in 300 acres of woodland and rare open heathland. At the same time, Woodhill Park enjoys a coastal location at East Runton.

Kelling Heath provides a range of accommodation, including holiday homes and luxury woodland lodges, touring and camping, alongside indoor and outdoor leisure facilities. Holiday homes are also available to purchase.

At Woodhill, guests can enjoy holiday homes and touring and camping pitches.

Park Manager Mark Durrant said: “We are looking forward to working with Norse Security because of their professional approach and comprehensive range of services and their environmental ethos.

“This means all vehicles used on the parks will be fully electric, which only complements Blue Sky Leisure’s commitment to sustainability.”
