Young visitors to a museum in Dereham now have a new attraction to look forward to, with the unveiling of a freshly redeveloped playground, which was opened just in time for the October half term holidays.
The adventure playground at Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse was delivered by a joint project team, including colleagues from Norse Facilities Management (FM) and Procurement, with help and support from the Group’s SHEQ team and colleagues within NPS.
The makeover saw the existing playground completely revamped, with the removal of older playing equipment which was no longer fit for purpose.
At the centrepiece of the new-look play area is an 8.5m high play activity tower, including plenty of slides and amusements to provide an enhanced play experience for children.
It is hoped that the new playground will continue to attract more families to visit the popular Norfolk museum, which continues to have stringent COVID-19 measures in place to ensure the safety of visitors.
